About us

Our passion for home and bedroom furniture began over 80 years ago (1936) with a furniture carpentry business. Over the course of time, the range of products on offer was expanded to include mattresses, upholstered furniture, generously dimensioned seating ensembles, sofas, chaises longues, futon beds, upholstered beds and box spring beds.

Now, the medium-sized company is in its 4th generation and remains 100% in the possession of the Jockenhöfer family. The members of the family are actively employed in the company and personally attend to the wishes of the customers, as well as to the further development and daily concerns of the company.

Every day, 2,500 people across the group of companies dedicate themselves to ensuring that a trendy, well thought-out, largely handmade piece of furniture is able to get to our customers via the quickest possible route. Though we may be medium-sized and local at heart, we think and act on an international level in order to keep our promises and satisfy the high demands we make on quality and performance.

Today, our group of companies includes locations in Marl (Germany, commercial head office), Greven-Reckenfeld (Germany, product development, exhibition centre, central purchasing department, logistics and main warehouse), Zwierzyniec (Poland, production), Komárno (the Slovak Republic, production), Budapest (Hungary, sales, main warehouse for Eastern Europe) and Shenzhen (China, representative office).
